Transitioning from JAR-OPS to EU-OPS |

In July 2008, to harmonise civil aviation technical requirements and administrative procedures, the European Union (EU) transposed JAR-OPS 1 into law as EU-OPS 1, which is now effective in all EU member states, as well as Iceland, Norway and Switzerland.
