Happy New Year! Welcome to the February edition of thePulse - our first newsletter of 2009.
This year started with a flurry of activity as we completed our move into our new office space in Orion House during the holiday season.
We have many milestones planned for 2009, including the release of
Q-Pulse 5.6, our application for ISO 27001 certification, developments to our Academy and Community offerings and the launch of our Validation service.

The latest version of Q-Pulse, version 5.6 is due to be released at the end of March 2009, as previously announced in our 2009 product roadmap.
Version 5.6 gives you a variety of improvements in 3 key areas:
- Refining existing processes (with consideration to customer enhancements)
- Improving Q-Pulse deployment and configuration
- Structuring Q-Pulse for integration

If you upgrade to Q-Pulse Version 5.6, you will be able to take advantage of our new licensing option, Primary and Secondary licences.
After listening to customer feedback, it became apparent that for some customers, the Restricted Licences did not give “everyday” users of Q-Pulse enough access to perform basic tasks.
We’ve taken that feedback on board and are happy to announce our solution – Primary and Secondary licences.

In December, we launched a new exclusive service for Academy Customers called Live Training. Each month, one of our Technical Specialists hosts an interactive training session on a Q-Pulse topic decided by Academy customers. Voting to choose February's topic is now open - ask your Academy administrator to vote on your preferred topic.

The latest version of the Q-Pulse business mapping tool, MindGenius, has just been released and is free to existing Q-Pulse customers who have MindGenius licences.
MindGenius can be used to investigate, review or analyse information, to explore incidents and non-conformances and anywhere that developing greater understanding is required.
